Very good book about a chick growing up and how fucked up our minds are. Sister Soljah is inevidabley the best author for teens and also adults as well. It opens your mind and shows you what ignorance, greed and everything else alike, looks like.
i love this book becuause Midnight was a character in the previous book above. She def. put a huge amount of detail in this book to be exact about the Muslim religion. It shows us how a real man should think, act and feel. How to value ourselves as women and men and what we look like, outside of ourselves. I'm pisses because I read this 500 page book in 3 days and it cuts off, leaving me wondering. Way better than "The Coldest Winter Ever." but i read that the next book on Midnight is going to connect with "The Coldest Winter Ever" 2 thumbs up!
